Expanded Crackdown and Preventive Measures

A coordination meeting has been called, involving all assistant commissioners and local SHOs, to reinforce the crackdown on aerial firing and ensure strict enforcement of the kite flying ban.

Additionally, similar safety measures have been implemented for Risalpur Air Base, with Nowshera's administration, police, and municipal authorities instructed to take firm action against offenders.

Additional Safety Measures

In a bid to further reduce risks, the General Manager of WSSP has been instructed to deploy additional personnel and improve cleaning operations around the airport to minimize bird activity. Authorities have also ordered the drainage of rainwater from a vacant government plot near the airport to eliminate potential bird hazards.
