Administration bans bird, kite flying in vicinity of Peshawar Airport

The district administration has imposed a ban on kite and pigeon flying in areas near the airport under Section 144. This measure is aimed at enhancing safety around the airport's vicinity.

The ban affects several areas, including Pishtakhara, Gulberg, Swati Phatak, Landi Akoon Muhammad, Umar Gul Road, Nawar Kale, Old Bara Road, Customs Chowk, Abdara Road, and Pawake Road.

In addition to kite and pigeon flying, the ban extends to the flying of quadcopters, the use of high-beam lasers, and the operation of shops selling pigeons. These restrictions are part of essential safety measures to ensure the safe landing of aircraft at the airport.

Violators of the ban will face prosecution under Section 188 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
