Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) issues directive for name change
After the reorganization of the
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the newly established Pakistan Airports
Authority (PAA) has issued its first administrative directive.
The directive, issued by the
Director of Human Resources for PAA, mandates that all departmental
communications and official documents now use “Pakistan Airports Authority”
instead of “Civil Aviation.” This change is to be implemented immediately
across all departments.

The order also underscores the need
for prompt adoption of this new terminology and requires all senior authorities
to ensure compliance.
In addition to the administrative
changes, the PAA has also called for staff participation in designing a new
logo. Employees are encouraged to submit their design ideas by August 22. These
proposals will be reviewed by the Council, with the final selection to be
approved by the PAA Executive.
