"We guide you home" is the motto of air traffic controllers worldwide, reflecting their crucial role in ensuring the safety of air travel.

Air traffic control is an essential part of the aviation industry, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aircraft through airspace. This involves monitoring, directing, and guiding planes both on the ground and in the sky.

In addition to managing takeoffs and landings, Pakistan's air traffic controllers provide critical technical support and guidance to aircraft navigating through Pakistani airspace via voice communications.

Asif Rasool, President of the Pakistan Air Traffic Controllers Guild, emphasizes that controllers work around the clock to ensure a safe flying experience. They serve in various capacities, including the Flight Information Centre, Area Approach Control, Control Towers, and as radar personnel across 22 airports in the country, maintaining high standards in flight operations.
