“The Chinese aircraft cost nearly half as much as Airbus and Boeing planes,” Gauhar explained. “This significantly lowers lease expenses, allowing us to pass on the savings to passengers.”
The airline plans to bring
simulators and spare engines for the Chinese aircraft to Pakistan as part of
its operational readiness.
The aircraft in question is the
COMAC C919, which can accommodate up to 150 passengers.
