Simultaneously, a case has been lodged against the counterfeit pilot, with an ongoing investigation aimed at uncovering the full extent of his fraudulent activities and any potential security ramifications.
It's worth noting that following the pilot license scandal, the European Aviation Agency imposed a ban on all Pakistani airlines in July 2020.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has discovered a network, allegedly comprising some of its employees and pilots, implicated in the fake pilot license scheme.
Sources reveal that the CAA is conducting raids to apprehend two suspects allegedly involved in the scam, as it has emerged that certain aviation personnel were using intermediaries to extort money for counterfeit licenses.

Reportedly, employees from the license branch allegedly accepted substantial sums of money from each pilot for forged documents, allowing impostors to take their place during certification exams.
"The CAA has obtained custody of several license branch officials and pilots," sources disclosed, indicating an expanded scope of investigations. "FIRs will also be registered against these individuals," they added.
