The decision to outsource the pilot license exams has met with significant opposition from various stakeholders, including aircraft owners.
The letter accuses PCAA authorities of facilitating this
outsourcing process despite the International Civil Aviation Organization
(ICAO) recognizing the national CAA's examination system as a global standard.
This move has led to a substantial increase in costs, with each
exam paper now priced over Rs 30,000.

Consequently, the total cost for the 14 required exams exceeds Rs
450,000, compared to the previous fee structure under PCAA, where the total
cost ranged from Rs 25,000 to 28,000.
