Pakistan asked to utilize Turkish expertise in privatization of PIA
Prominent businessman and Honorary Consul General of the Republic
of Turkiye, Salim Saifullah Khan, has advocated for leveraging Turkish expertise
in the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
In a statement issued in Peshawar, Khan highlighted the success of
Turkish Airlines as a model for effective airline management, suggesting that
their operational capabilities could significantly benefit PIA. He emphasized
that utilizing Turkish Airlines' expertise could lead to more efficient
management of the national carrier.

This proposal reflects the strong and friendly relations between
Pakistan and Turkey. Khan believes that involving Turkey in PIA's privatization
