Lanka’s FitsAir to launch direct weekly flights between Colombo and Lahore
FitsAir aims to provide affordable travel
options to Colombo, along with onward connections to regional destinations, while
also facilitating travel for Sri Lankan tourists to northern areas of Pakistan.
Founded in 1997 as ExpoAir, the airline initially focused on cargo services. In 2022, it rebranded as FitsAir and expanded into passenger operations, becoming Sri Lanka’s first private airline to operate international commercial flights. Since then, it has gradually expanded its network across South Asia and the Middle East.
