World Defence Show 2026 in Saudi Arabia
The Pakistan
Air Force’s (PAF) participation in the ongoing World Defence Show 2026 (WDS-26)
in Saudi Arabia underscores the country’s growing role as a center for
aerospace innovation, operational capability, and reliable defense solutions,
according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“WDS-2026 serves as a premier global
platform for defence and security,” the ISPR said. “PAF’s participation
reinforces Pakistan’s position as an emerging hub of aerospace innovation,
operational competence, and dependable defence solutions.”

The PAF is showcasing its cutting-edge JF-17 Thunder Block-III multirole fighter and the highly acclaimed Super Mushshak basic trainer aircraft. The JF-17 Block-III represents the pinnacle of Pakistan’s combat aviation technology, featuring advanced avionics, an AESA radar, a sophisticated electronic warfare suite, and beyond-visual-range combat capabilities, making it a formidable 4.5-generation fighter for modern air forces.
The Super Mushshak trainer
highlights Pakistan’s expertise in pilot training solutions. Known for
reliability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of maintenance, the aircraft has been
successfully adopted by multiple friendly nations and remains a benchmark for
basic flying training worldwide.
According to the ISPR, PAF’s
presence at WDS-2026 reflects its leadership’s vision of fostering defense
cooperation, promoting defense exports, and strengthening strategic
partnerships. The event provides an opportunity for international delegations,
