flyadeal celebrates completion of one year of its flights to Pakistan

Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding low-cost airline, flyadeal, marked the first anniversary of its flights to Pakistan with a special travel trade awards dinner in Karachi. The celebration comes shortly after the airline inaugurated its new sales and marketing office in the city, one of five destinations now served across Pakistan.

Since launching services in February 2025 from Riyadh and Jeddah to Karachi—flyadeal’s first South Asian destination—the airline has steadily expanded its network. Within eight months, operations grew to include Peshawar, Sialkot, Lahore, and Islamabad, bringing the total to 18 non-stop weekly flights between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

The awards dinner, hosted by flyadeal’s Jeddah-based management team alongside Muhammad Saleem Motiwala, Country Sales Manager Pakistan, honored top-performing travel agents. The event included over 100 agents and highlighted the airline’s partnership with local general sales agent Matchless Global.

CEO Steven Greenway said:
"It’s been an incredible 12 months—from market entry to rapidly growing awareness and operations across Pakistan. With strong industry support, we look forward to expanding our network further this year, offering more destinations and frequencies to provide affordable, convenient non-stop travel for our customers. Air access is vital for economic connectivity, and the Saudi-Pakistan air links continue to strengthen cultural and business ties between our nations."

Farooq Ahmad, Head of Sales, added:
"flyadeal has built strong relationships with Pakistan’s travel agency community, gaining trust and loyalty among both the trade and consumers. Our flights meet the needs of the large Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia, offering affordable travel to visit family, work, or perform Hajj and Umrah. Direct services avoid the typical delays of one-stop travel via other Gulf hubs, making travel easier and more convenient."
