Karachi Airport to be expanded and modernized to facilitate passengers
The Pakistan
Airports Authority (PAA) has approved a major expansion of Jinnah International Airport, with an
allocation of Rs100 billion aimed at addressing growing passenger traffic and
long-term capacity requirements.
Sources said the project will feature the
construction of a new terminal building, a state-of-the-art cargo village, and
several additional facilities as part of a comprehensive upgrade of the
airport’s infrastructure.
