Participants inspected critical movement areas, removing debris and highlighting the collective responsibility needed to maintain hazard-free runways, taxiways, and apron zones. FOD is a significant global aviation risk, capable of causing serious damage to aircraft engines and systems.
The Airport Manager praised the
collaborative effort, emphasizing that regular awareness initiatives cultivate
a safety-first culture and ensure continuous adherence to international best
practices.
