Türkiye lauds PAF's stellar performance during conflict with India
Türkiye has expressed strong appreciation for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), praising its exceptional operational performance and reaffirming its desire to deepen bilateral defense cooperation, particularly in advanced technologies and joint training.
Turkish Defence Minister Yasar Güler
conveyed this commitment during a high-level visit to Air Headquarters in
Islamabad, where he met with Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer
Ahmed Baber Sidhu. He was accompanied by a senior delegation from the Turkish
Ministry of Defense.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on the evolving regional security landscape, reviewed ongoing defense collaboration, and identified new opportunities for cooperation in emerging domains such as aerospace, disruptive technologies, and unmanned aerial systems.
A key outcome of the meeting was the
agreement to establish dedicated joint working groups aimed at streamlining
bilateral efforts and accelerating progress in priority areas. Both parties
also agreed to finalize frameworks for enhanced training collaboration and
committed to expanding the scope of bilateral and multilateral air exercises.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu emphasized
the deep-rooted and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Türkiye and reiterated
the PAF’s commitment to advancing cooperation in aerospace innovation and elite
pilot training.

Minister Güler lauded the PAF’s high level of operational readiness and its steadfast defense of national sovereignty, particularly during the recent conflict with India under the current leadership. The visit underscored the shared
