Following the expansion of its
runway and the construction of a state-of-the-art cargo complex, Faisalabad

Ms. Jameel reassured that new
airlines would be allocated slots based on demand, with no obstacles to the
process. "Unlike Lahore, 100% of passengers' baggage is scanned at
Faisalabad," she added.
She further highlighted that
Faisalabad is now recognized as the most secure and safest airport in the
country.
Earlier, FCCI President Mr. Rehan
Naseem Bharara emphasized that Faisalabad gained international recognition in
the aviation sector when it began operating international flights in 2014-15,
thanks to the efforts of the FCCI.
