US sanctions 26 firms for violating export controls
The United States has added over two
dozen entities to its trade blacklist, citing their involvement in weapons and
drone development programs in Iran and Pakistan, as well as support for
Russia's military efforts in Ukraine.
The US Commerce Department identified
26 entities, mainly located in Pakistan, China, and the UAE, for violating
export controls and evading sanctions related to Russia and Iran. These
organizations have now been placed on the "entity list," which
restricts their access to US technologies and products without government
approval.

national security from bad actors. Our actions today send a message that
violations of our controls will have consequences.”
Among those listed, nine entities in
Pakistan were accused of functioning as front companies for the Advanced
Engineering Research Organization, which is reportedly involved in acquiring
US-origin materials for Pakistan's cruise missile and drone initiatives.
