Iranian Air Force Commander to witness Indus Shield exercise in Pakistan
Iranian Air Force Commander
Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi has arrived in Islamabad on an official visit at
the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart.
Leading an Iranian military
delegation, Brigadier General Vahedi touched down at Nur Khan Air Force Base,
where he received a warm welcome from Pakistani Air Force officials, Iran’s
Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, and the Iranian military attaché,
Colonel Mohammad Mohsen Shahabi, on Tuesday.

Tomorrow, he is set to attend the
Indus Shield exercise at Mushaf Air Base. Following this, Brigadier General
Vahedi is scheduled to meet Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar, the commander
of the Pakistani Air Force, at the Pakistan Air Force headquarters in
Islamabad.
During his visit, he will also hold
discussions with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir.

Notably, bilateral relations between
Iran and Pakistan in defense, military, and security sectors have advanced
significantly in recent years, including the exchange of military delegations
from both countries.
