flydubai starts daily operation to Islamabad and Lahore
flydubai, Emirates' sister airline, commenced operations to Islamabad and
Lahore in Pakistan on July 1, according to an announcement made by the airline
on Tuesday. The inaugural flights departed from Dubai International Airport
(DXB), marking the start of flydubai’s daily services to both cities.
The flights received a warm welcome upon arrival at Islamabad International
Airport (ISB) and Allama Iqbal International Airport (LHE), including a
ceremonial water cannon salute by airport officials, as stated in a press
release.
Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations (UAE, GCC,
Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent) at flydubai, expressed enthusiasm about
expanding travel options for customers. He noted, “The commencement of our 14
weekly flights to these two points will enable more of our passengers to enjoy
direct access between the UAE and Pakistan.”

flydubai’s network in Pakistan now includes Faisalabad, Islamabad, Karachi,
Lahore, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot, solidifying its presence across the
country.
With a fleet of 88 Boeing 737 aircraft, flydubai operates over 125
destinations in 58 countries, offering a range of travel options to its
passengers.
The airline clarified that flights will depart daily from Terminal 2, Dubai
International (DXB) to Islamabad International Airport (ISB) and Allama Iqbal
International Airport (LHE).
For travelers interested in Business Class, return fares from DXB to ISB
start at Dh5,500, and Economy Class fares start at Dh1,300. Return fares from
ISB to DXB begin at PKR 400,000 (approximately Dh5,278) for Business Class and
PKR 120,000 (about Dh1,583) for Economy Class.

Similarly, return fares from DXB to LHE in Business Class start at Dh5,500,
