CAA clarifies rumors of Karachi Airport sale amidst UAE aviation team visit
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a statement
addressing recent online rumors regarding the sale of Jinnah International
Airport in Karachi, categorically stating that these rumors are baseless. The
airport remains firmly under the management of the Pakistan Civil Aviation
Authority (PCAA).
"We urge the public to rely on official sources for accurate
information and refrain from spreading unverified claims," the statement
emphasized.

Meanwhile, a two-member team from the General Aviation Authority of UAE
arrived in Karachi to assess security measures for direct flights between
Pakistan and the UAE. Led by Senior Director of Security Affairs Abdullah Al
Kaabi, the team will spend the next four days inspecting various aviation
security measures at Karachi Airport, focusing specifically on flight security.
The visit was met with a welcoming reception from the CAA Director of
Aviation Security, with airport management and other stakeholders participating
in an inaugural meeting to facilitate the assessment.
