This visit is part of the 'Road to Makkah Project,' an initiative by Saudi Arabia aimed at streamlining the immigration process for prospective Haj and Umrah pilgrims to the sacred land. Upon their arrival, the Saudi delegation received a warm welcome from the acting airport manager of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, along with representatives from other relevant departments and agencies.

During an extensive tour of the airport, the Saudi delegates were guided through the route that Haj pilgrims would follow from the main entrance to the immigration area. The delegation displayed a keen interest in the entry procedures for prospective pilgrims and the available immigration facilities.

Discussions also focused on the allocation of immigration halls and other pertinent issues. Additionally, there was an emphasis on the importance of pilgrims arriving at least five hours before their scheduled departure to allow ample time for necessary procedures and preparations.
