New cargo route between Pakistan and China to improve connectivity
SF Airlines has inaugurated the first international air cargo route of the year, connecting Ezhou Huahu Airport in central China's Hubei Province with Lahore, Pakistan.
The new Ezhou-Lahore cargo route, launched last week, is a
significant development in bilateral connectivity and trade relations between
Pakistan and China, according to Pakistan's Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi.
Ambassador Hashmi described the cargo route as a crucial driver
for trade between the two nations, praising it as a noteworthy step forward in
enhancing bilateral connectivity. Currently, four airlines operate multiple
weekly commercial flights between Pakistan and China.

Operated by SF Airlines, the new cargo route is set to run three
times a week, providing a weekly air transport capacity of over 300 tonnes from
Ezhou to Lahore. The transported goods will primarily include textiles, 3C

This international cargo route is expected to establish an
efficient and stable air logistics channel, facilitating economic and trade
exchanges between China and Pakistan. Additionally, it will offer increased
logistics convenience for Chinese brands looking to explore and expand their
