Pakistan Air Force base hosts induction and operationalization ceremony
A distinguished induction and operationalization ceremony took
place today at a Pakistan Air Force operational base. Chief of Army Staff,
General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Upon
his arrival, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air
Staff, Pakistan Air Force, welcomed the Chief of Army Staff. The event
highlighted the introduction of newly-inducted weapon systems and defense
assets of the PAF.

In his address, Chief of the Air Staff highlighted the recent
additions to the PAF’s arsenal, including J-10C fighter jets, air mobility platforms,
modern radars, unmanned aerial systems, loitering munition capabilities, and
long-range vectors. These additions significantly enhance the aerial defense
capabilities of the country.
The Chief of the Air Staff also mentioned key developments such as
the establishment of the Center of Excellence for Air Mobility & Aviation
Safety, the College of Air Defence, and the revitalization of the Air Power
Centre of Excellence. Additionally, the operationalization of the National
Aerospace Science and Technology Park has equipped the PAF to meet evolving
challenges.
The Chief of the Air Staff emphasized the progress made by the PAF
in the realms of Cyber and Space technologies to ensure a robust defense for
the country.

During his speech, the Chief of Army Staff commended the
operational preparedness of the Pakistan Air Force, incorporating
state-of-the-art weapon systems that contribute significantly to maintaining
the regional balance of power. He highlighted the importance of indigenization
and human resource development, endorsing the PAF’s commitment to technological
advancements and operational excellence. The Chief of Army Staff reassured that
the Armed Forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to counter any aggression. He
also appreciated the PAF’s efforts in transporting Relief Goods for the victims
of the Gaza conflict.
The ceremony concluded with a spectacular airshow featuring
various PAF fighter jets, training aircraft, and UAVs. The Chief Guest and
attendees later witnessed a static display showcasing the diverse PAF fighter,
air mobility, and UAV fleet.
