PAF fighter jets conduct air to air refueling over international waters

Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder aircraft conducted air-to-air refueling while returning from Bahrain to Pakistan.

The PAF had deployed three of its JF-17 fighter jets at Bahrain International Air Show with an in-flight support of IL-78 tanker aircraft.

During the non-stop flight of jets from an operational air base in Pakistan to Bahrain and on their way back to the country, inflight refueling was carried out by PAF JF-17 Thunder aircraft.

Although the PAF has been successfully conducting inland air to air refueling during operational missions and exercises, the capability was further consolidated by doing the same over international waters through PAF’s own tanker aircraft.
