Over 1,400 pass out at PAF airmen academy in Karachi

The passing-out parade of Aero Apprentices took place at PAF Airmen Academy in Korangi Creek, Karachi, on Thursday. Air Marshal Irfan Ahmad, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Air Defence) for the Pakistan Air Force, presided over the event as the chief guest. Air Vice Marshal Syed Imran Majid Ali, Air Officer Commanding at PAF Academy Korangi Creek, welcomed the chief guest.

A total of 1410 Aero Apprentices, including 66 trainees from the Pakistan Navy and one trainee from Sri Lanka, successfully completed their technical training. Addressing the ceremony, the chief guest highlighted the professionalism of the PAF as a combat-efficient force, consistently meeting the nation's expectations during challenging times through historic valor, operational preparedness, and professional excellence. He emphasized the PAF's possession of state-of-the-art weaponry and its full potential to defend the aerial boundaries of the motherland.

The chief guest stressed the need for fully harmonized training of PAF personnel in the current security scenario, ensuring they are fully capable of protecting and maintaining the next generation of defense assets. He congratulated the graduating airmen, extending wishes for a bright future and success in their upcoming professional assignments.

Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Air Defence) acknowledged the sincere efforts and commitment of the Academy Instructional Staff to the cause of training.

 

Pakistan Airforce (PAF) cadet wins award at Australian Defence Force Academy



Trophies were awarded to the distinction holders, with Aircraftman Talha Usman receiving the Chief of the Air Staff Trophy for Overall Best Performance. The Asghar Khan Trophy for Overall Best Performance in Aeronautics was awarded to Aircraftman Muhammad Arslan, and the Nur Khan Trophy for the Best in Avionics Technology went to Aircraftman Talha Usman. The Air Officer Commanding Trophy for the Best Performance in General Service Training was presented to Academy Sergeant Aircraftman Anees Ur Rehman. Additionally, the Trophy for Best Performance in foreign trainees was claimed by LAC Abeykoon ABMS from Sri Lanka.
