SriLankan Airlines increases direct flights to Pakistan
SriLankan Airlines has significantly increased its number of
direct flights to Pakistan, following the approval of the Civil Aviation
Authority (CAA).
SriLankan Airlines was set to operate four weekly flights to
Lahore, with an additional flight scheduled between Colombo and Lahore.

Gulf Air to start operations to several cities of Pakistan
The foreign airline plans to maintain a frequency of four
flights per week between Colombo and Lahore. Notably, the airline is already
operating four weekly flights from Karachi.
In addition to expanding its flight offerings, this
development is expected to boost the foreign airline's revenue and enhance the
convenience for passengers.

SriLankan Airlines employs Airbus 320, Airbus 321, and
Airbus 330 aircraft for its flights in Pakistan.
In September, Batik Air, a Malaysian airline, also announced
the commencement of direct flights between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur, starting
from October 31, 2023. This expansion, with three weekly flights, strengthens
connections between the two countries, facilitating both business and leisure
travel opportunities.
