PSO stops supplying aircraft fuel to PIA once again
Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has once again declined to supply
aircraft fuel to the national flag carrier, Pakistan International Airlines
(PIA).
PSO's refusal to provide aircraft fuel affected two domestic
PIA flights operating from Islamabad to Karachi.
Sources reported that flight PK-309 encountered significant
delays due to the suspension of fuel supply by PSO, which resulted from outstanding
dues. Subsequently, the CEO of PIA reached out to the Managing Director of PSO
to resolve the issue.

In a previous incident, Pakistan State Oil (PSO) had
suspended fuel supply to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) due to unpaid
dues. This led to delays and passenger inconvenience on PIA flights,
particularly PK-747 from Lahore to Madina and PK 305 from Lahore to Karachi.
The PIA spokesperson mentioned that discussions are ongoing
between PIA and PSO, and the delayed flights will soon resume their operations.
