PSO inaugurates modern aircraft
refuelling facility at Quetta International Airport
In a significant milestone,
PSO (Pakistan State Oil) has inaugurated its advanced aircraft refuelling
facility at Quetta International
Airport, located in the heart of Balochistan,
the provincial capital, and largest city.
The occasion was attended
by Syed Khawar Abbas Jillani, the General Manager of Aviation, Marine &
Exports at PSO, who served as the chief guest. The event also saw the presence
of distinguished guests, including Malik Mazhar Hussain APM – Quetta,
representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), members of the Airport
Security Force (ASF), prominent local figures, and esteemed officials from both
organizations.

PSO takes pride in its
prominent role in the aviation industry, further underscored by the addition of
Quetta Airport to its portfolio. Expanding beyond Quetta, PSO has also assumed
the operations and management of Sukkur and Nawabshah Airports, significantly
enlarging its Jet fuel operations to encompass 14 airports across the nation.
This expansion reflects PSO's unwavering commitment to setting new standards of
service excellence and unmatched quality while establishing a comprehensive
presence that connects with customers nationwide.
Speaking at the event, Syed
Khawar Abbas Jillani shared his thoughts, stating, "PSO boasts over 40
years of experience in aircraft refuelling and has consistently supported
Pakistan's aviation industry." He highlighted the airport's vital role in
connecting local cities and international destinations through carriers like
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Fly Dubai, and Air Arabia.
