Pakistan and Kazakhstan launch direct flights to enhance relations

In a bid to strengthen tourism and trade ties, Pakistan and Kazakhstan have commenced direct flights starting from today (Saturday). This new air route aims to facilitate easier travel between the two countries and promote economic cooperation.

The SCAT Air Company of Kazakhstan will operate two weekly flights, every Wednesday and Saturday, connecting Lahore, Pakistan's second-largest city, with Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan. Passengers will enjoy the convenience of traveling on a Boeing 737 aircraft, ensuring a comfortable journey.

Yerzhan Kistafin, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, expressed his optimism regarding the new flight route. He highlighted th
at the direct flight between the two nations will only take approximately 2 hours, significantly reducing travel time and enhancing the opportunities for mutual economic and trade relations. Furthermore, he emphasized the potential for increased cooperation in the field of tourism, foreseeing a brighter future for both countries.

Lahore, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, remarkable architectural landmarks, thriving cultural scene, and culinary traditions, stands as a vibrant and captivating destination for tourists.
