Pakistan Airports Authority to provide more facilities at Bacha Khan International Airport
The
Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA)
has invited bids from eligible contractors and firms for
the provision and installation of illumination of the DMBS
installed on Runway 35-17 (R) at Bacha Khan
International Airport (BKIA), Peshawar.
According
to a tender notice issued by the PAA, the procurement will be
conducted in accordance with PPRA Rule 36(a). Participating firms
are required to possess relevant engineering expertise and
resources and must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering
Council (PEC) in at least C-6 or above category, with
relevant PEC specialization codes EE-04, EE-06 and EE-11.
The
tender carries an earnest money requirement of Rs162,498. Bids
must be submitted electronically through the PPRA
E-PAD system by 11:00am on October 7, 2026, while the
bids will be opened at 11:30am the same day.

The
authority has directed bidders to submit the original bid
security to the office of the Divisional Engineer ES E&M,
BKIA, Peshawar, before the submission deadline. A scanned copy of
the bid security must also be uploaded to E-PADS. Bids submitted
without the required earnest money will not be entertained.
The
tender notice lists several mandatory documents, including
incorporation or registration documents, Active Taxpayer List (ATL)
status, NTN certificate, Professional Tax certificate, valid PEC
certification, affidavits regarding blacklisting and litigation,
power of attorney where applicable, and duly signed and
stamped bidding documents.
PAA
has cautioned bidders against submitting financial instruments
as “Tender Cost.” It warned that any fake, forged or
dishonoured pay order, bank draft, bid security or bank guarantee
could result in blacklisting and legal action under
applicable law.

authority has also clarified that no tender documents will be
accepted after the closing time of 11:00am on October 7, 2026.
The
tender is being handled by the Office of the Divisional
Engineer ES E&M, PAA BKIA, New Office Block, Level-3,
Peshawar.
