announced a major Rs. 100 billion expansion plan for Jinnah International Airport, aiming to upgrade
the facility to handle growing passenger traffic and future aviation needs.

A key feature of the upgrade is the development
of a modern cargo village and an international-standard cargo handling section,
intended to improve efficiency and boost overall capacity. Additional
facilities will also be introduced to better serve passengers and cargo operators.
Officials say work on the project has already been accelerated, signaling a major step toward transforming the country’s busiest airport into a modern, world-class aviation hub.
