Pakistan to develop comprehensive Air Navigation Services (ANS)
business plan
The Pakistan
Airports Authority (PAA) has officially announced a bid invitation seeking
consultancy services for the modernization of Pakistan’s Air Navigation Service
Provider (ANSP). The initiative also includes the development of a
comprehensive Air Navigation Services (ANS) Business Plan. This move is part of
Pakistan's broader efforts to upgrade its aviation infrastructure, improve
safety standards, and align with global best practices in air traffic
management.
The PAA aims to hire expert consultants who
will guide the process of modernizing the ANSP to ensure that it meets the
growing demands of air traffic, enhances operational efficiency, and embraces
cutting-edge technologies. The goal is to provide more reliable, efficient, and
safer air navigation services for both domestic and international flights, in
line with international standards set by the International
Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Furthermore, the development of the ANS
Business Plan will focus on long-term strategic planning for air traffic control,
infrastructure investment, and service improvements, setting a clear roadmap
for the future of Pakistan's air navigation services.
This modernization project is expected to
boost Pakistan’s position in the global aviation industry, improve the efficiency
of air traffic operations, and ultimately contribute to the nation’s economic
growth through enhanced connectivity.
