She conveyed the concerns of senior citizens and businesspeople in Norway, who have been urging the national carrier to restart direct flight operations at the earliest.

The ambassador termed the development a moment of great relief and happiness for the community, expressing confidence that, God willing, direct flights between Pakistan and Norway would begin very soon.

She stressed that the resumption of direct air connectivity would not only ease travel for the Pakistani diaspora but also help strengthen economic and commercial ties between the two countries, addressing a long-standing demand of the community.

In response, the PIA CEO assured that flight operations between Pakistan and Norway would commence shortly, offering greater convenience to passengers.
