Serene Air employees demand prompt payment of outstanding salaries
Dozens of Serene Air employees
staged a protest over unpaid salaries, highlighting financial hardships after
going without pay for three consecutive months. The affected staff, including pilots,
air hostesses, and ground personnel, said they have not received wages since
September, following the suspension of airline operations.
Employees described the delay as leaving them
struggling to cover daily expenses and household needs. Despite repeated assurances
from management, the dues remain unsettled, fueling growing frustration among
the workforce.
