Over three million Pakistanis used Dubai airport in first nine months of 2025
Dubai
International Airport has reported that 3.2 million passengers from
Pakistan passed through its terminals in the first nine months of 2025, making
Pakistan the fourth largest nationality by passenger traffic.
According to airport authorities,
travel from Pakistan remains strong due to tourism, trade, family visits,
employment, and Dubai’s role as a major transit hub connecting Europe, the
Middle East, and North America.

In the third quarter alone (July–September), 24.2 million passengers transited through Dubai International, a 1.9% increase from the previous year and a new quarterly record in the airport’s 65-year history. Between January and September, the total passenger count reached 70.1 million, up slightly over 2% year-on-year, while the past twelve months saw a record 93.8 million travellers.
By nationality, India led with 8.8
million passengers, followed by Saudi Arabia (5.5 million) and the United
Kingdom (4.6 million).
Airport officials highlighted high
operational efficiency, with 99.6% of departing passengers completing
immigration in under ten minutes and 99.8% of arrivals processed within fifteen
minutes.
