Workers complete work on Jinnah International Airport before deadline
The Pakistan Airports Authority
(PAA) has achieved a major milestone in its upgrade of Jinnah International
Airport, announcing the early completion of Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC)
works on the main runway (07L/25R).
Originally slated for late August,
the PQC phase wrapped up on July 30 — four weeks ahead of schedule. Officials
credited the accelerated progress to advanced slipform paving technology and
24/7 operational shifts that kept work moving without interruption.
