PAF pilots given awards for their gallantry in aerial fight against India
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots have earned national acclaim for their role
in Operation Marka-e-Haq,
a daring mission that destroyed six Indian fighter jets and critical air
defense assets, including an S-400 system and the Integrated Air Defense
Command and Control facility in Barnala.
The operation, carried out on the first night of hostilities between
Pakistan and India (May 6–7), showcased exceptional aerial skill and precision.
Among the downed aircraft were prized Rafale jets. While India has not
officially confirmed the losses, it has acknowledged casualties during the
clashes.

Pakistan’s skies.”
The confrontation followed an April 22 attack in Indian-administered Kashmir
that killed 26 people, mostly tourists. India alleged cross-border involvement;
Pakistan denied the claims and called for a neutral investigation. The dispute
escalated into airstrikes and drone attacks before easing with a US-brokered
ceasefire on May 10.
