PAF contingent returns after taking part in Saudi air drill
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) showcased the advanced, long-range operational capabilities of its indigenous JF-17 fighter jets during the Spears of Victory-2025 exercise in Saudi Arabia, the military’s media wing announced on Friday as the PAF contingent returned to Pakistan.
Held at King Abdul Aziz Air Base, the
international exercise saw the participation of air forces from Saudi Arabia,
Bahrain, France, Greece, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom,
and the United States.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations
(ISPR), PAF pilots executed a non-stop flight from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and
back, performing in-flight air-to-air refueling and demonstrating the JF-17
Block-III’s impressive long-range capabilities.
The PAF contingent, which included JF-17
Block-III fighter jets, combat pilots, and technical ground crew, received
recognition for the fighter jet’s outstanding performance in combat
simulations. The JF-17 Block-III proved its technological prowess and
operational efficiency when compared to other advanced fighter aircraft.

The exercise focused on
improving interoperability between the participating air forces through
realistic air combat scenarios. PAF’s participation underscores its dedication
