VTT Global partners with SUPARCO to develop remote sensing satellite project

VTT Global (Private) Limited, one of Pakistan’s leading strategy and management consulting firms, has partnered with SUPARCO (Pakistan’s national space agency) to develop a strategic roadmap for the country’s upcoming remote sensing satellite project and the broader expansion of space-based geospatial infrastructure.

The high-level workshop, jointly held by both organizations, focused on aligning the satellite initiative with Pakistan’s national development goals, including Vision 2025, the National Space Policy 2023, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2015.

The satellite project is poised to deliver transformative impacts across multiple sectors—boosting economic resilience, enhancing fiscal planning, advancing space innovation, and strengthening data sovereignty. It aims to firmly establish Pakistan’s role in the emerging global geospatial ecosystem.

Developed through VTT Global’s multidisciplinary framework, the initiative incorporates legal, financial, and technical structures to ensure strategic coherence and sustainable implementation.

Built on a public-private partnership (PPP) model, the satellite roadmap outlines innovative investment strategies and regulatory pathways that could catalyze entrepreneurship and foster long-term economic sustainability.

Enhanced access to real-time, high-resolution satellite data will provide significant benefits for agriculture optimization, climate resilience, national security, urban development, and disaster risk management.
