Pakistan jubilant over resumption of Europe flights after four years

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Chief Executive Officer, Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Amir Hayat, and Director General of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Nadir Dar, have both praised the resumption of PIA flights to Europe after a four-year hiatus, calling it a significant step forward for the national carrier.

In an interview with a private news channel on Saturday, DG Nadir Dar expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for his crucial role in lifting the restrictions on PIA’s European operations. He described the restoration of these flights as a monumental achievement, underscoring the Prime Minister's dedication to revitalizing Pakistan's aviation industry and strengthening the country's global connectivity.

"This milestone is a direct result of Prime Minister Sharif's relentless efforts to improve Pakistan's aviation sector," Dar stated. "His commitment to restoring the nation's international standing and fostering economic growth is truly commendable."

PIA CEO Amir Hayat also lauded the successful resumption, calling it a remarkable accomplishment. He emphasized that the return of flights to Europe would not only bolster Pakistan’s economy but also enhance its international reputation.
