Sukkur airport to undergo major expansion

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has completed the initial planning phase for a major expansion of Sukkur Airport, which will enable it to accommodate Boeing 777 aircraft. This announcement was made during the first-ever e-Kacheri session.

PAA Director General, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Zeeshan Saeed SI(M), confirmed that land acquisition for the project is currently underway. The expansion is part of a broader initiative to enhance regional connectivity and modernize Pakistan's aviation infrastructure.
