PIA posts advertisement to hire new CEO

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has begun its search for a new chief executive officer following the completion of Amir Hayat’s term.

The national airline has posted an advertisement inviting applications from qualified candidates within the next 15 days.

The position calls for applicants aged between 45 and 57, with either 20 years of experience in managing large corporations or at least 10 years in aviation industry management roles.

Eligibility Criteria for the Position

To be considered for this prestigious role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a graduate degree (minimum 16 years of education) in business/public administration, finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Membership in a recognized accounting body is preferred.
  • Age: 45 to 57 years as of the application deadline.
  • At least 20 years of experience in large organizations, including a minimum of 10 years in senior management roles.
  • Candidates with experience in the aviation sector or previous experience as a CEO are strongly encouraged to apply.
