Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Vice Marshal Shahryar Khan has celebrated Pakistan’s triumph in the 1965 war, describing it as a critical struggle for the nation's integrity and survival. Despite confronting an adversary with a fourfold numerical advantage, Pakistan's armed forces effectively defended the country and thwarted their enemy's plans.

“The Pakistan Air Force exceeded the nation’s expectations during the conflict,” Air Vice Marshal Khan stated. He highlighted the pivotal role of the PAF in preventing the Indian army from capturing Lahore, with enemy advances being repelled at every turn.

The Air Marshal also lauded the Pakistan Army, particularly the bravery of its soldiers, known as the "Shahbaz." He commended their steadfast defense, ensuring that not a single inch of territory was lost and upholding Pakistan’s sovereignty with resolute courage.
