PIA reduces fares for flights to
Jeddah and Madinah
Pakistan International Airlines
(PIA) has announced a substantial reduction in fares for flights from Karachi
to Jeddah and Madinah, offering passengers more affordable travel options.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the
national carrier has slashed fares by 30% in an effort to make air travel more
accessible. Under the new fare structure, a one-way ticket from Karachi to
Jeddah or Madinah is now priced at Rs56,000, inclusive of taxes. Round-trip
tickets between Karachi and these two Saudi cities are available for Rs88,000,
inclusive of taxes.

These reduced fares are available
for booking until August 31, 2024, with travel to be completed by September 30,
2024. The spokesperson highlighted that the discounted rates are effective
immediately.
This fare reduction is expected to

Umrah or visit the holy cities for other religious purposes. PIA’s decision to
offer these discounts reflects its commitment to meeting customer needs while
staying competitive in the international market.
