PIA reduces fares on Saudi bound flights
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has unveiled a significant
reduction in fares tailored for Pakistani pilgrims, resident visa holders, and
workers bound for Saudi Arabia.
As per a PIA spokesperson, the airline has introduced fare cuts of
up to 30% specifically targeted towards pilgrims and visa holders.
Travelers destined for Jeddah and Madinah will have the chance to
benefit from these reduced fares.

The discounted rates will be applicable from April 7, 2024, to
April 11, 2024.
The national flag carrier has implemented fare reductions of up to
Rs50,000 for economy class seats.
Passengers originating from Lahore can expect an economy seat fare
of Rs103,680.
Meanwhile, passengers departing from southern regions, including
Karachi, will be charged Rs95,400.
The announcement of reduced fares comes as a boon for many
individuals planning to visit the holy places during the sacred month of
Ramadan.

Recently, PIA disclosed that all its debts and losses will be
transferred to a holding company taking charge.
Following this development, PIA has emerged as an appealing
investment prospect for significant players within the aviation sector.
