Pakistan, Turkiye explore collaboration in aviation sector

Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the Minister for Finance and Revenue, emphasized the significance of collaboration with Turkiye in the aviation sector as a key component of strengthening bilateral relations.

He made these remarks during a meeting in Islamabad with Mehmat T. Nane, Chairperson of Turkish Pegasus Airlines. Muhammad Ali Tabba, CEO of Lucky Cement Limited, was also present at the meeting.

The Finance Minister noted that this collaboration aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision to enhance Pakistan's aviation industry. He recalled a recent discussion with the Turkish Trade Minister, where various opportunities for trade and business partnerships were explored.

Aurangzeb described this meeting as part of a broader strategy to bolster Pakistan-Turkiye ties across multiple sectors, including aviation.

During the meeting, Mehmat T. Nane provided an overview of Turkey's aviation strategy, highlighting aspects that could benefit Pakistan’s sector and discussing how Pakistan might leverage Turkey’s experience and expertise to advance its own aviation industry.
