Pakistan Army Chief witnesses passing out parade at Pakistan
Airforce Academy, Risalpur
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir graced the passing out parade
ceremony at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Academy in Risalpur on Thursday.
General Asim Munir observed the parade of PAF cadets and
participated in awarding trophies to exceptional performers during the course.

Air Force base hosts induction and operationalization ceremony
Sergeant Habibur Rehman was honored with the Chief of Air Staff
trophy for his outstanding performance in the Air Defense Course. Additionally,
Cadet Khushal Khan Khattak and Aviation Cadet Muhammad Arslan received the PAF
trophy and the Chief of Air Staff trophy, respectively.
Naval Cadet Amanullah was also recognized with a Chief of the Air
Staff trophy. Squadron Officer Junaid Malik was presented with the Sword of
Honour by the chief guest.

The Pakistan Air Force Academy Asghar Khan, where the ceremony
took place, is a prestigious military academy providing undergraduate education
to officer candidates for the Pakistan Air Force.
Originally established in 1910 as an airfield for the Royal Flying
Corps and later the Royal Air Force, it became the official airfield of the PAF
on August 15, 1947. The academy received elevated status to that of a flying
college by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in 1948 and was further upgraded to
an academy by former president Ayub Khan in 1967.
