Pakistan, Bahrain seek to increase cooperation in military aviation
The Commander of the Bahrain National Guard, His Highness General
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, met with Air Chief Marshal
Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, at Air Headquarters in
Islamabad today.
During the meeting, discussions focused on various areas of mutual
interest with the aim of enhancing government-to-government cooperation,
particularly in the fields of emerging technologies, with an emphasis on drone
technology, and collaboration within the Cyber and Networking domains. Air
Chief Marshal Sidhu highlighted the strong and enduring brotherly relations
between both nations.

The visiting dignitary commended the exceptional professionalism
demonstrated by personnel of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and acknowledged the
remarkable progress achieved by the PAF.
Additionally, the Commander of the Bahrain National Guard visited
the PAF Cyber Command, where he received a briefing on the operational
capabilities of the Pakistan Air Force in the Cyber domain. Showing keen
interest in the advancements made by the PAF, the visiting dignitary expressed
his intention to deploy a specialized team to assess and address any existing
gaps within the emerging technologies architecture of the Bahrain Armed Forces.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu reassured the Commander of the Bahrain
National Guard of the PAF’s unwavering cooperation and pledged full support to
collaborate in strengthening the technological frameworks of the Bahrain Armed
