Government committed to PIA privatization: Aviation Minister

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, discussions centered on the
National Aviation Policy 2023, challenges confronting the Pakistani aviation
sector, and air service agreements with other nations.

privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). Additionally, during
the session, the minister received briefings on various entities falling under
the ministry's purview, including PIA, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority,
Pakistan Airport Authority, Bureau of Air Safety Investigation, Airport
Security Forces, and Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Furthermore, plans for outsourcing three major airports—Islamabad
International Airport, Jinnah International Airport Karachi, and Allama Iqbal
