Pakistan has finalized a substantial $1.6 billion deal with Azerbaijan for the sale of JF-17 fighter jets, marking a significant milestone in bilateral military cooperation.

Reported by Azer News, this deal represents Pakistan's largest-ever sale, with Islamabad aiming to enhance its military capabilities. The agreement, facilitated by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, signifies the country's commitment to expanding its defense exports.

The contract includes the sale of JF-17C Block-III fighter multi-role aircraft, considered the optimal choice for Baku within its budget constraints. The deal encompasses aircraft, training, and ammunition, highlighting the comprehensive nature of the agreement.
