Pakistani plane delivers aid to people of Gaza
On Friday, a specialized aircraft carrying 81 tons of
humanitarian and medical aid from Pakistan for the people of Gaza arrived at
Egypt's El-Arish International Airport. Pakistan's Ambassador to Egypt, Sajid
Bilal, officially handed over this aid to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for
onward delivery to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza.
In a statement, the embassy expressed Pakistan's unwavering
solidarity with the people of Palestine during this critical period and pledged
to continue providing essential relief assistance.
A day prior to this arrival, Pakistan had dispatched its
first consignment of relief aid for the oppressed people of Palestine. This aid
shipment includes one thousand winter tents, four thousand blankets, and three
tons of medicines, all of which will be delivered to Palestine via Egypt.

The relief assistance comes as a joint effort by the
Pakistan Army and the National Disaster Management Authority and aims to
provide immediate relief to those affected in Gaza.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, stated
Pakistan's deep concern for the situation of their Palestinian brethren in Gaza
and strongly condemned the Israeli aggression and blockade, including a recent
attack on a Gaza hospital. These actions were considered violations of
international humanitarian and human rights law, constituting war crimes and
crimes against humanity. Pakistan called for an immediate ceasefire, the end of
the siege on Gaza, and the creation of humanitarian corridors for the unimpeded
delivery of relief supplies.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the death toll
in the Gaza Strip had reached 3,785, including at least 1,524 children, with
over 12,000 individuals injured in the region.
